최선명 작가(1959)는 연세대학교 불문과 졸업 후 텍사스대학교 오스틴캠퍼스에서 회화를 전공하였습니다. 이후 미국 파슨스 디자인 스쿨에서 두번째 석사학위를 수여한 작가는 뉴욕에서 활발한 활동을 펼치고 있습니다. 세비야 비엔날레, 아트 바젤, 스페인 알함브라 궁전, 해외 유수의 갤러리에서 다수의 개인전 및 그룹전을 거치며 작가로서의 기반을 확고하게 다져 왔습니다. 또한 2012년 런던올림픽에 전시되었던 최선명 작가의 작품은 현재 국제올림픽위원회(IOC)에서 영구 소장되며 그 작품성을 인정받고 있습니다.

Sunmyoung Choi(1959) graduated from the Department of French Language and Literature, Yonsei University, and studied MFA paintings at the University of Texas, Austin, USA. Choi has been working in NY after receiving her MS degree at Parsons School of Design. She has established herself as an international artist by presenting works at numerous museums and galleries throughout the world, including Seville Biennale in Seville in Spain, Art Basel, and Alhambra Palace in Spain. The artist has exhibited the works at London 2012 Summer Olympics, and it is one of the collections of IOC(International Olympic Committee) at present.
